All gourds, straws and accessories are shipped for free using either USPS Priority Mail, USPS First Class, or FedEx. FREE SHIPPING is for US & US territories.
From another country? Bummer, but international orders outside of US do not qualify for free shipping offers on yerba mate gourds, straws, or accessories. For international shipments, you can place your order and we will contact you via email regarding the additional shipping costs. At that time you can agree to ship the international order or cancel and get a full refund. If your order is less than 25 pounds, a USPS Priority Mail option will often be available. The price for Priority Mail depends on the weight of the package and the shipping location, thus priority mail may cost less than or more than the standard shipping option of $5.95. Priority mail IS available for orders shipping outside the contiguous United States (eg., Alaska, Hawaii, Guam, Puerto Rico, etc)!
You will recieve FREE Standard Shipping on all orders shipping to one address that have at least $65 worth or products. Shipping fees, taxes, and other charges do not apply to the minimum purchase requirement. Orders with less than $65 worth of product can receive standard shipping for $5.95 or less. Standard shipping or Free Shipping is NOT available for orders shipping outside the contiguous United States (eg., Alaska, Hawaii, Guam, Puerto Rico, etc). Standard Shipping ships either FedEx Ground, Priority Mail, or First Class.
For domestic orders, after your order is complete, our warehouse processes and ships it within one to two business days. Although infrequent, technical issues or required system updates can cause slight delays in shipping time. Shipping time also does NOT include: processing time, non-business days (weekends and holidays), nor the day that FedEx or USPS receives the package. So, the first business day after receiving the package is considered Day 1 in shipping time. Remember that bad weather days can also cause unwanted delays. All FedEx & USPS orders come with an automated e-mail providing a tracking number when they are shipped. You can use this number to find an estimated delivery time, and see where your package is.
Although Ma-tea.com is responsible for the content and packaging of your shipment, we are not responsible for delivery time once it leaves our hands. We are happy to do everything we can to help locate lost or delayed shipments and will make sure to help resolve any shipping issues to the best of our abilities.
Please recall that we can not refund shipping charges on international shipments, so it's very important that you check for errors before submitting your order. Please contact us immediately if you need to make corrections or add any special instructions. The customer is responsible for any customs fees that may be charged in their own country. If you have difficulty processing your international order, please contact us. Unfortunately, we can not offer warranties on international shipments for damaged product or satisfaction issues. Depending on the situation at hand (i.e. damaged items from shipping, damaged items before being shipped, unsatisfied with product, incorrect item sent, etc...), we will work with you to come up with the best options to resolve the issue.
Although we inspect each order for defects and damage before we ship, things can happen during shipment. Should you receive a damaged item, please save it, along with all the packaging, as this may be required for inspection during the claims process with FedEx or USPS. Please contact us immediately so that we can assist with the filing of the insurance claim.
If merchandise arrives with a manufacturers defect, then please contact us immediately for a return authorization claim number or replacement.
If you are dissatisfied with your items but they are not defective or damaged, please contact us to arrange an exchange or refund. Note that shipping charges are nonrefundable for items that are not defective or damaged. You can send the items back to us for a refund of their purchase price.
