1. I Love this for 1 hr commute to work

   I love this cup, I used for 1 hr commute to work, it is extremely easy to use and durable. I droped it several times and it finally broke, and item was not carried for a long time. I stopped using mate' for some time and started again and I am super glad to find it and I have ordered several.
   
   I love it!!!!

   This item works exactly as they say it does. I am a believer. It filters better than the other travel mugs for sale on other websites. Not once have I had any leaf get through the straw. I will buying another soon to keep at work.

3. Much better than I thought it would be!

   I was a little hesitant to buy one of these...thinking it would never be as good as an old fashioned gourd/bombilla. But after spilling mate all over my car a few times, and struggling to pour water from gourd to thermos while driving I figured it was time to get one.
   
   I've used it a few times and it is great! You fill the white part with water and the green part with mate and you are good to go. When you take a pull on the straw the water actually starts filling up the green part before it heads up the straw so you are constantly getting mate that has had some time to "marinate".
   
   And yes, the cup is insulated so it will keep your water hot for awhile. The only downside is that the green part doesn't screw or snap on very securely. You can lift the cup up by the green part since it fits rather snuggly, but I wouldn't chance it while driving and spilling hot water everywhere. But at least it doesn't just rest on the white part...it does take a little force to separate the two pieces.
   
   Very happy with the purchase...just thought I'd add my 2 cents since finding reviews on these things isn't easy!
